lupe was born into a working class family in a small European country, growing in the suburbs amidst large apartment blocks and communal playgrounds!! The time was one filled with great memories of endless days playing in the forest, our huge swimming pool which was a lake or ice skating in winter. The time was also punctuated by a growing sense of loneliness and feeling different!!

School and growing into a teenager was also a difficult time as lupe senior had high and lofty expectations for junior which were clearly not met by a young procrastinating lupe!! The strong belief of his mother in a rather eclectic but different relegion did nothing to release the pressure of feeling like a foreigner. Soon the void and great belly troubling angst of not stacking up was replaced with a period of smoke filled haze and pretty much drugs, sex and rock and roll!

The saving grace was a band of friends that one only dreams off and the countless times lupe laughed so hard are precious memory of a time gone by!! On a footnote, lupe hooked up with his old homies only 2 months ago and what a time was had!! Funny that after 25 years of little contact it only took 1 minute and it was like a big engine coming together faultless and all the cogs slinking perfectly!!

lupe fled his comfortable, secure abs in world terms luxurious life in 1987,aged 19 and traveled all around the world, seeing and in fact applying for refugee status in a country, with no success!! Of course this story leaves out a lot of details but the sense of being alone in life has never really left, lupe just appreciates it now and knows its place in his life! He embraces it and acknowledges the role of being a Global Villagers!!

Today lupe will be a 1st world refugee again, this time due to the searing heat.... 44 degrees Celsius today

Clearly and undeniably, lupe had the best named blogs, in fact he tends to belief some of the best blogs full stop!! Sure at times he may divulge too much or use fancy ass language but in essence he must apply at least some of the stuff he learnt over 8 years at Uni!! Sophisticated dribblage is quiet a difficult task to master, especially when packaged in such an eloquent manner. Sure, his grammar is not always top shelf but looking around, the younger generation cannot even spell grammar most of the time so lupe is still ahead!!

Today lupe and curvee are shooting the breeze, meaning that not much apart from fun and frivolity is allowed! Of course as the title suggests, activity will occur!! lupe is quite glad to get a day off painting and will use the day, in fact seize the day to have a crack at some new additions and amendments to his website. One of the things lupe has been working on is to attract more traffic to his site as traffic may actually result in sales!!

One of the ways to do this is to add ads to ones site!! Now this is not a clear cut matter as one attempts to hold onto artistic integrity, purity of creation but hell, none of that pays any bills! Not sure what will be selected but the shaking of the tree continues and Fusion Pop Art will reign one day, well maybe, hopefully... Ever wondered why nowadays everything seems to have rules and the slightest possibility of or hint of possible dislike or emotional distress causes the 'Kill the fun Police' to come out?? Maybe this phenomenon is particularly applicable and relevant to lupes homeland of Australia but one would think the Kill Joys are everywhere!!

Can't say 'Ho Ho Ho' anymore as it is offensive to some!!! What the @&(&@ is wrong with these people?? Not more Christmas celebration for kids due to cultural diversity! Well let everyone share their cultural diversity, that would be cool!! Popcorn banned due from kindys due to poor nutritional value and being a choking hazard.....one could play with the term but let's not get carried away too much! lupe wonders if Lego are banned for being too colourful, books for giving paper cuts, pencils for threat of sharpening injury...it's all just a load of bullshit!!

And yet here we are in Australia, the most over governed country on earth, with 3 tiers of Government and paying those clowns a truckload of cash while we are getting told to bend over and suck it up!! Now lupe is a pacifist and was raised in a country where waves were not encouraged and one just went along but lately the sheer bum steer bullshit we get and put up with is just beyond!!

Maybe we should all go on strike and insist we just want one Government, a Federal one and that be it!! Sure it may sound simplistic but our reality is looking pessimistic, just check your latest electricity bill!!! Bet Che Guevara would have saved popcorn in kindys and called for La Revolution!! That's it...

Imagine lupe a year ago...well that is hard do he needs to help out right!! lupe had been going through a difficult time with the ending of his marriage and the subsequent fall out from it all! lupe was still a succesful CEO of a business and seemingly had finally climbed to the top of the tree!! Seemingly is the key word, as all the money and power did not seem to matter anymore, living in his Office and yet.... lupe was on the doorstep of what seemed like a fantasy, a realm from some distant time....curvee!!!

lupe did not do any Art at the time, in fact life was a irk of Art in itself in those days, abstract Art in fact!! So amongst all that trouble, grey and at times confronting times, lupe still felt like the kid that had inherited the Candy store! The sheer joy in knowing that here was this gorgeous beast of a woman that was just as crazy as lupe, well in fact....nevermind.. and she was tuned into the same rare unique air that lupe was breathing!! So as the love blossomed and cranked up, the release of lupes own doubt as to where he was at professionally and emotionally came to the fore and was allowed to manifest itself!! But become an Artist was still not the main option, anything was really!!

lupe had been keen on photography old style since the early 90's and it took a chance encounter to snap some digital pics in the kitchen and fiddling with software to produce probably the most enduring picture for lupe, Vegemite!! Now, having started full time in August, held and Exhibition and plenty of media exposure, website and of course blogging, what's the review of Fusion Pop Art by nakedartbylupe??? Well lupe is looking for a casual job so that sort of describes the economic reality of it all, sold quite a few prints and overall had the best time!! lupe is incredibly proud of what he and curvee have achieved and 2012 has and still is a fantastic year!! lupe still adores what he does and who he does and will keep on doing what he loves........

Morning fellow villagers and lupe believes today is not just going to be a creativejuicemixerday, but a stinking hot Aussie sweat day!! Looking through the fridge, as one does when smacking out some toast for kiddies brekki, lupes eyes glanced over a strange looking tin that seemed to contain some odd conconction resembling a foreign food sauce!! Spam it proudly stated on tin, a quality pork product! Now, being a non Muslim and having grown up in a pro pork nation, lupe loves the little porkers!! Especially ham or hamme as its called, is just the best thing!!

If lupe may digress,  the last hamme was in his hometown of Switzerland, in Interlaken to be exact where lupe and curvee enjoyed a 5 hour boat trip across 2 lakes. Eating lunch, hamme, at the Railway station while waiting for the 2 minute train ride to the next boat warf is a fantastic memory!!! Love that place!!

Anyhow back to Spam, now here is the thing, lupe tried some of it and it really did not make a lasting positive effect on his taste buds, in fact one could query if there is any pork in it, but upon further deep reflection, the lightbulb came on!!! Spam, the word means junk and tastes like it! For all spam lovers out there, you get lupes respect and admiration as well as the belief that Spam lovers will survive any apocalypse as that shit is undead, nuclear proof and happy in tis tin home!!

Reminds one of another item that is contained in a cheap tin, proposing to be something there not, in fact regressing but that's a diff story.... the story of trolley man and the georgeous woman he once had! Stay cool Aussies and to everyone else in our Global Village, love live and laugh
